If you can give me FTP access and a URL to reproduce the issues I can take a look and see what went wrong. Your technique sounds valid, so I'd have to really dig in to see why it isn't working properly.

If you send me URLs and FTP access and then explain on a page by page basis what doesn't look correct, then I can dig in and tell you why.
