Installation Wizard - Can't get past Step 3 of 5 of PowerGallery install

Installation Wizard - Can't get past Step 3 of 5 of PowerGallery install

I have tried on 4 different browsers and each one results in a similar response: at Step 3 of the PowerGallery Installation Wizard, the server/host, database, username, and password are all entered correctly, however all browsers return an error page indicating that the database.php file did not send any data, or a secure connection failed, or ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE.

I have uploaded all the files to my host (GoDaddy) and changed the permissions on all files to allow read/write/execute.

I have verified my server and login details using PHPMyAdmin, hosting, andMySQL Query Browser.

I am using Dreamweaver CC on a Macbook Pro running Parallels, and have tried to complete the install on both the OS side (Chrome and Firefox), and on the Windows side (Firefox and Explorer).
