Logging in to site stopped working on live website, still works on local testing server

We have security assist hiding/showing prices, inventory, etc when logged in to our live website. Recently logging in only redirects to the associated page but does not start the logged in session. We have not made any changes to the site that would cause the issue. Running the site on our local testing server everything works as it should. We have deleted and reuploaded all of the backend files with no change. Any suggestions to where the issue could have started and/or a fix?
