To be fair to WA, they aren't the only extension vendor that is suddenly having customers ranting. I have many extensions that have been very useful in previous versions of DW, but are now incompatible with DW because Adobe has restructured the application, and directories that once existed in the application folder where extensions did install files into, no longer exist. And the issue isn't just a DW issue either.
In fact, it's only through sifting through the DW forum on adobe.com that I found out that using the DMXzone EM was possible for other vendors, and subsequently posted that info here. I think it's great that DMXzone allow other vendors to use their EM as a way of overcoming Adobe's changes as it can only raise their profile. I get why Adobe has made the change to their software and the way third party software is installed, but it does give the end user a headache... and in turn the third party software developer due to the cries for help.
