Is there a way install WebAssist Extensions CC 2015 yet

Has WebAssist built an installer yet? All the info on the forums and documentation videos is ancient. Is Webassist still around or did it die with the extension manager?

We are still here. The easiest way to install the extensions is to use the extension manager by DMXZone: http://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver/

It is free and works just like the old extension manager.

That is what I have been doing. The only problem is that the DMXZone EM will no longer be supporting other extensions and will be removing them on Oct 10th.

Extensions will still be able to be installed with the command line. We will have to work on an easier way to install in light of that information. I wasn't aware about DMXZone dropping support for third party extensions.

OK, so it's now October 10th and DMXZone have supposedly stopped any extensions that aren't theirs being installed via the DMXZone Extension manager. But I can'r find any info on this, and their FAQ page still states that you can install non-DMXZone extensions through their manager. http://www.dmxzone.com/go/22720/does-dmxzone-extension-manager-support-non-dmxzone-extensions

Do you know any more about this yet, and can I check if you are using the current version of 1.0.11 to install non-DMXZone extensions? I'm asking because I have an older version (1.0.8), and I don't want to overwrite it if the 1.0.11 will no longer install other vendor extensions... it might be they just haven't updated their webpage to suit the version!

Thanks.

Yes, DMXZone EM will continue to work for third party extensions. Be sure your Dmx me is version 1.0.11 or higher. Version 1.0.6 will still remove them.

DMXzone Extension Manager will always support third party extensions

Hi All,
this is George Petrov from DMXzone.com

I just want to clarify that we will always support installing third party extensions with our own DMXzone Extension Manager!

We have no intention what so ever to remove the support of third party extensions.

So just install the latest DMXozne Extension manager from http://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver

and just drag & drop your ZXP/MXP files on it for quick install.

Greetings,
George Petrov

Thank you George... I just had a support chat with Miro and he confirmed this to me too.

It's great to see how companies can work together to overcome roadblocks that major corporations seem to want to impose in order to profit regardless of financial outlay made by partner companies such as yourselves and your customers. I have spent thousands of pounds between your two companies over the years and would be very disappointed to fall victim to having to loose all of that functionality that I already own.

Thanks.

Thanks for chiming in George. We have been driving our customers to the DWMX Extension Manager because it does appear to be the best solution for installing in DWCC 2015 (and its free). It is a lot easier than doing it command line, which is the only current alternative.

Really? That's not the information you've been providing me with:

Very disappointed by this. I've spent all morning uninstalling / reinstalling Adobe Extension Manager, DW, WebAssist extensions...sigh.
