Hi Ray,
This is what I have done.
Uninstalled all WebAssist extensions, followed all instructions above, backed up configeration folder, deleted .dat file, re-installed all extensions, deleted .dat file, run DW. Still same problem.
So, I uninstalled all extensions again, uninstalled DW. Re-installed dreamweaver, re-installed all extensions, closed DW as requested and deleted .dat file, restarted DW, still same problem.
As I am in UK have PM'ed my Skype address
