my localhost cannot be fouind

I had a website in a domain that i had to switch to a new domain name,

Im not fully sure if that is relavent to my current issue.

I am not able to to bring up my localhost for setting up my testing server in dreamwever, i have xamp installed and a database in place from the website i already created on a different domain.

1. Can you help me with why im gettting an object not found error on http://local/xamp/ ( i will attach a picture)

2.Can you help me with why i am gettting a code 404 when i try to connect to database in dreamweaver (i will attach a picture)
