Updated server to PHP 5.4 and updated WAUE code - now getting error: Strict Standards: Non-static method Mail::factory()

I've upgraded my server to PHP 5.4, and started testing my pages that use DataBridge features to insert data and send emails using WAUE. Though the insert and email work, I get the following errors:

Strict Standards: Non-static method Mail::factory() should not be called statically in /home/content/17/9433817/html/abilityconnectiontexas/webassist/email/PEAR_Mail_using_SMTP_php.php on line 190

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/17/9433817/html/abilityconnectiontexas/webassist/email/PEAR_Mail_using_SMTP_php.php:190) in /home/content/17/9433817/html/abilityconnectiontexas/volunteersignup.php on line 176

Line 190 of PEAR_Mail_using_SMTP_php.php is:
$theMailer =& Mail::factory('smtp', $paramArray);

Line 176 of volunteersignup.php is the WAUE redirect to load the confirm page:
header("Location: ".$GoToPage);

where the value for $GoToPage is set to the confirm page. I've attached the PEAR_Mail_using_SMTP_php.php and the volunteersignup.php for you to have a look.

I've uploaded all of the files that were changed when I updated the WAUE code:
as well as the two attached pages.

Thanks as always for your help!
