Open popup box on checkout

With in Ecart 4.XX

I'm trying to open a modal box pop up window rather that go to a URL when the customer clicks checkout.

Below is the standard webassist ecart checkout code but I need to change this line...

$Redirect_redirStr="../Checkout/";

....to something that can run a script to open a modal box using:

MOOdalBox.open(
"http://www.mysite.com/Login/index.php",
"Some kind of caption",
"500 400" // width and height of the box - can be left blank
);

Does anyone have any ideas on how to run a javascript script with PHP?

Many Thanks In Advance

Standard Webassist Checkout Code:

<?php
//WA eCart Redirect Check Out
if (isset($_POST["eCart1_Checkout_1"]) || isset($_POST["eCart1_Checkout_1_x"])) {
$Redirect_redirStr="../Checkout/";
if ($Redirect_redirStr != "") {
if (isset($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']) && $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'] != "") {
if (strpos($Redirect_redirStr, "?") === false) {
$Redirect_redirStr .= "?".$_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'];
}
else {
$Redirect_redirStr .= "&".$_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'];
}
}

$eCart1->redirStr = $Redirect_redirStr;
}
$eCart1->cartAction = "Checkout";
}
?>
