Thanks, I changed the bg color of productCart, image, imageWrapper and img to transparent (one at a time and all at once), and the black background is still there. I then did the same thing again, only this time I changed the bg color to 00ff00. The black bg was still there on top of the green. I then tried redoing the image itself in Photoshop (instead of Fireworks), and ended up with the same result.

I have a transparent gif on a white bg in the body, and it displays fine. That's the only bg color called in any style other than lists in the menu css. Weird...
