First of all thanks to whoever changed my forum membership to one I can use. What is the point of allowing you onto forums that you cannot use when it asked for an image verification that you cannot see. Now regarding Free Tools:
I had exactly the same problem (as did many others). I followed all the advice and ended up with all WA DW extensions but CS Sculptor removed and then things got even worse with even more error messages. I deleted the WinFileCache .dat file but the error messages still came. In the end I deleted the entire Configuration folder (DW builds a new one the next time you open the program) and, up to now everything seems OK. My advice is to get rid of Free Tools and not to reinstall it until WA have got their act together. To put software out that creates so many problems is unacceptable even if it is free. I should have been working and earning my living as opposed to spending valuable time on problems that shouldn't exist in the first place.
It might be unacceptable but it is typical of WebAssist. I have spent more time “fixing” their solutions than using them. No other company have I ever had so many problems with. They can't even write an installer script that has the intelligence to automatically delete previous versions of conflicting extensions. And, at least on my system, installing and deleting their extensions is always coffee-break time. Hours of wasted effort.
