Connecting PowerCMS to existing MySQL database

Thanks Jason for getting back to me with this one. Yes I agree it would be easier to do the initial setup using the remote server with the installed database, but the webhost doesn't allow remote connections. Their antiquated setup has been causing me headaches for some time :-(

Anyway I managed to manually make the connection change from local to remote editing the PowerStoreConnection.php file and now I'm in business. So thank you for your help!
