PHP errors after moving site from one host to another

Permissions

I checked the index and global file yesterday and they had 777 permissions. I went through the rest of the files today and they all have 777 permissions set. This site is running under a Plesk control panel/Windows now. It was previously on a Windows server without a control panel. I cannot seem to set any permissions back to 755 as they all are locked somehow through Plesk. Need to read up on how to set the permissions in Plesk. All the files in the file manager have a permissions setting, but all are grayed out and I cannot change them. Trying through FTP also just reverts back to 777 after trying to set at 755.

So with 777 set it seems like a security issue, but not an access to the file issue.

Any other ideas?
