PHP errors after moving site from one host to another

I've moved a store (files and database) from one Windows server to another. When I first tried going to the site once on the new server the static portions of the site displayed, but not the dynamic portions. I double checked the connection settings and found an error in the database connection settings. Once I fixed that I got an open_basedir error. I edited the PHP.ini settings for this domain to allow open_basedir to any directory. Now all I get is

Warning: require_once(WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\wigswilltravel.com\httpdocs\index.php on line 1

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php' (include_path='.;./includes;./pear') in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\wigswilltravel.com\httpdocs\index.php on line 1

wigswilltravel.com/

After reading about 25 threads in the forum and trying a few things, I'm stuck at this point.

this os probably a permissions error.

using File Zilla or another FTP Program, set the permissions of the WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php to 755

It may be that you will need to set the permissions for all of the power store files by selecting the root folder of your site and setting the permissions to 755 and selecting the recurse through all files and folders option.

Permissions

I checked the index and global file yesterday and they had 777 permissions. I went through the rest of the files today and they all have 777 permissions set. This site is running under a Plesk control panel/Windows now. It was previously on a Windows server without a control panel. I cannot seem to set any permissions back to 755 as they all are locked somehow through Plesk. Need to read up on how to set the permissions in Plesk. All the files in the file manager have a permissions setting, but all are grayed out and I cannot change them. Trying through FTP also just reverts back to 777 after trying to set at 755.

So with 777 set it seems like a security issue, but not an access to the file issue.

Any other ideas?

open_basedir settings

I noticed it I turn on the Plesk default setting for open_basedir in the PHP settings that I get the static content again, just no dynamic content or that's how it appears.

If I turn open_basedir to none, then I get just the PHP errors.

I left it to open_basedir "default" at the moment so you can see the three errors it throws showing an open_basedir error along with function errors.

Power Store cannot be used with the open_basedir restriction enabled, open_basedir needs to be disabled on the server for power store to function.

i will start an incident to look into the other issues, but open_basedir will need to be turned off.

Permissions fixed

Thanks for the help. Moved the files from the Windows server with the supposed 777 permissions to my linux server. Set the permissions to 755 and the site works correctly now.
