Can I Create Multiple Update Behaviors with one Trigger?

Can I Create Multiple Update Behaviors with one Trigger?

I have a page that has 3 forms. Each form will update different tables in my db. I would like to make it so that I can have one "save" button on the page that will trigger all three update behaviors.

I tried setting each update behavior to fire when a single button is pressed, however I am only able to update one of the tables (from the form where the save button resides) - the other tables update as well but get blank values from the forms.

I assume this is because the form values for the other forms don't persist once an update has fired.

So the question is: is this possible? and how do I implement?

Thanks guys.
