selection changes to first in list

selection changes to first in list

Attached txt file is the code from a page that has a dynamic dropdown. The dynamic bit works - but as soon as you move the mouse to go and click the 'add' button, the selection reverts to the first item in the list.

I see there's a mouseover bit of code, but can't see its relevance to the problem, as the selection changes well before you get to the add button (button done wit button styler)

If you make a selection and tab to the add button and press enter, the record inserts properly.

Any ideas?

BTW - I think it's a great shame that this extension is being discontinued - I hope that webassist will create their own jquery version to help us non-tecchies!
