No, Paul. I don't believe they are related, but the eCart related startup issue has been addressed in a new build that is available in your download center. Just be certain to install Data Bridge after eCart if you get the new build.
It appears that this crash is related to the crash others are experiencing when they're running the DataAssist Create Pages Wizard.
We've finally tracked down a mac in the office here that also crashes so we'll be able to get this fixed soon.
