CSS Menu Writer won't create a menu

I just downloaded the CSS-Design Suite. When try to insert a new menu, the extension trys to load, it hangs up for a while, then tells me the:
CSSMenuWriter/WA_SitePreferences.js has been running for a long time. Do you want to continue?
I tell it no, then the extension loads. I try to insert a new menu, or a select new menu attribute, but it hangs up the same way.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the extension twice.
I am on a pc, running windows XP

CSS Menu Writer did work the first time I tried it, but I haven't been able to get it to work since. Any suggestions?
