Web site currency

I will be using two instances of Powerstore 4.5 on my production server. One will be ".com" and the other ".ca" extension. They will work off the same database with the ".com" products being calculated using the current exchange rate from CAD$ to US$.

I have a few questions on the best way to accomplish this task...
1. I intend on doing the exchange rate math for US$ in a new column in the would I allow the ".com" extension access to that price list and not the ".ca" extension?
2. Is it possible to list "US$" dollar format in ".com" and "CAD$" format in ".ca"?
3. How would I add a icon at the top right of my page for the country currency flag for the customer to choose?

There is one last question not related to the would I add a new nav button to the menu bar next to the "contact us" button?

Any help with these questions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
