Web site currency

Hi,

I will be using two instances of Powerstore 4.5 on my production server. One will be ".com" and the other ".ca" extension. They will work off the same database with the ".com" products being calculated using the current exchange rate from CAD$ to US$.

I have a few questions on the best way to accomplish this task...
1. I intend on doing the exchange rate math for US$ in a new column in the database...how would I allow the ".com" extension access to that price list and not the ".ca" extension?
2. Is it possible to list "US$" dollar format in ".com" and "CAD$" format in ".ca"?
3. How would I add a icon at the top right of my page for the country currency flag for the customer to choose?

There is one last question not related to the above...how would I add a new nav button to the menu bar next to the "contact us" button?

Any help with these questions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
RHH

We dont offer support for these types of modifications to Power Store.

It would take a lot of unsupported customization to add a new column to the products table for the different currency and have that used for only the .ca domain.

changing the way the currency is displayed on the page is also not supported, you would need to edit the code directly in to many places to list.

to add a menu item to the navigation, you would need to edit the webassist/plugins/main_menu/menu.php file.

Thanks Jason for your reply,

What method(s) would you recommend to achieve the listed problems or if it's possible at all?
