Can I use this Solution to give registered users access to a unique set of pages?

Yes. Once a user registers and then logs into your site you can grant them access to a unique set of pages that only a registered user can view.

Do you need to own other WebAssist products to use this Solution Pack?

While Dreamweaver extensions from WebAssist such as SecurityAssist and DataAssist can be used to enhance the user registration system they are not required.

Can the included registration form fields be renamed?

Yes. The included registration form fields can easily be renamed for a personal touch.

Can additional form fields be added to the registration form?

Yes. Additional form fields can be added by hand coding or with the use of DataAssist and CSS Form Builder two of our Dreamweaver extensions.

What is the difference between the full and simple registration form?

The simple registration form only requires registrants to enter their email and a password to register, while the full registration form requires more specific details such as first and last name, phone number, address, city, state, zip country, etc…

What four levels of registration form security are included?

The four levels of security include CAPTCHA, honeypots, random question, and current page submission check.

What is CAPTCHA?

CAPTCHA, which stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart, is a technology used to discriminate between human users and machine users in order to prevent spamming sites from using web robots to send spam through your form.

What are honeypots?

Honeypots are hidden form fields that cannot be seen by a human filling out the form and therefore if anything is entered into one of these fields it is assumed that a web robot is attempting to submit the form by entering information in all form fields. If so the form will not submit.

What is the “random question” security feature?

As another layer of security the contact form is set up to provide a random question such as “Is fire hot or cold.” The individual completing the form simply enters the appropriate text, in this case hot, so that the form can be submitted. If text other than hot is entered then the form will not be submitted.

How is this solution licensed (i.e. how many registration systems can I set up)?

When you purchase the User Registration Solution Pack, you receive a developer's license to develop as many websites as you desire; all for one low cost.

Do you have a return policy?
