Search for BOSS on localhost

I'am developing a website on localhost, when it is finished and accepted it will be migrated to a intranet.
But I can't get a BOSS APP Id on the yahoo website, because I can't check the required form on localhost

Is there a solution for this.

Thanks

Search for BOSS won't work on localhost because it relies on the Yahoo site indexing engine, and it can't index a localhost site. Seach for BOSS will only work on live sites once indexed by Yahoo.

When will it start to work?

How long after uploading a live site will search for boss start to work? How long will yahoo take to index a live site?

It depends on how many links into your site there are. You can speed it up by asking yahoo to search your site. Go to: submit.html
