Site Import 3 error

When I try to run SI3 with DWCS4 I get the attached error. However, on the same laptop computer with my old version of CS3 still installed I have no problem. Doesn't it work properly with CS4?

There are no compatibility issues with CS4 and Site Import. Try deleting the WinFileCache from the Configuration folder:

That cured it but I don't know what that wincache file is. Will it affect anything else?

Thanks

Basically its a cache file to help make things run faster. When installing extensions sometimes the cache file doesn't get written correctly, so it causes some errors. It will get created correctly by Dreamweaver when you start it up again.

Site Import only Imports Index Page

Hi I am new to this product and new to using Dream Weaver. I tried to import a site using the Site Import Tool and I am missing all the pages other than the index page. All the images and css files seemed to import fine but of a 6 page site it won't import any of the pages other than the index. I hope its something simple that I am messing up.

Please don't post multiple posts attached to other threads. It makes it very difficult to keep things straight. New issue - new thread.

No problem.

We all have to start somewhere. That's why the support guide was created. :)

Thanks for your response.
