Can log in, but nothing else works

On one of my installations of PowerCMS, I can log in to the cms, but can only access the Home tab and the Activity tab. Anything else I click on takes me to the Home tab. I can click on a content area (the list on the left) and it takes me to the content page, but when I click Edit, I see a flash of the Home tab page and then it returns to the Content area page. I can't edit, I can't even log out. And when I go to the website, I don't see the Edit icons on the cms areas. Can you help?

I am getting the same thing I can login and see all my pages but when I click edit it goes through its cycle but goes back to index.php and nothing please help

in the WA_SecurityAssist/Helper_PHP.php file, try changing :

if (!isset($_SESSION)) {

    session_start();

}

to:

@session_start();
