Surveyor and Yahoo Site Map Submission

I just submitted a sitemap using surveyor and it worked well, except for Yahoo. I get a 403 error when trying to submit the site map to Yahoo. Any thoughts?

Hi Clay,

I was able to successfully submit a sitemap to Yahoo. Please note if submitting from localhost, yahoo will return the error: invalid web URL. In the Submit Site Map window within Dreamweaver, update the XML site map field to your IP address and try submitting again. If this still is not working, please let me know what errors are being returned, along with the web address in the browser that was opened when trying to submit.

Thanks,
Todd

Valid URL

I have the valid http url in the site submission XML site map field.

It returns a 403 error.

Here is the url...

ping?sitemap=http%3A%2F%2Fmarthwood.com%2Fsitemap.xml

Thoughts?

Go to: submit

and click "Submit a site feed"

That will allow you to try to submit the site map from yahoo directly. If nothing else it may give you a more informative error.
