html2image.exe and Forum Blank Screens

Hi,

My AV (McAfee) is flagging up html2image.exe whenever I run HTMLEditor3, saying that the program is trying to accept incoming connections from the Internet (Allow, Allow once, Block).

I gather this is the preview engine for WA apps, but should it be trying to accept incoming connections? Do I allow or block it?

Thanks

Also, I can only view two or three pages of this forum - then all I get is blank screens. Every time. I have to clear the WA cookies to get any further (which means I have to log in again!)

Firefox 4

Yes, the html2image.exe is the WAS Preview engine.

the incoming connections will be coming from the loop back address:
127.0.0.1

it's safe to click allow.

As for the connection issue, I had a similar problem recently that turned out to be a problem with one of the Add In's i had installed in Fire Fox.

I uninstalled all Add In's, the installed only Fire Bug and Web Developer toolkit and the problem went away.

Thanks Jason,

I think some of the add-ins I had on FireFox 3.6 and which managed to get added to FF4 might not have been thoroughly tested for compatibility issues.

Will remove unnecessary ones.

Cheers

You're welcome.

I have had a few issues crop up in FF4 when using Firebug.

I have found that when using multiple tabs, if you leave the Firebug panel open on one tab, it will cause other tabs to fail to load. Same with the FF Error console, I have found that leaving the error console can cause issues when browsing.
