PowerGallery VERY Slow in Loading

I have a similar problem to one mentioned earlier. It's taking 30 seconds for my client's galleries of home staging photos to open (see homeStagingPhotos.php .)

Unfortunately, I do no databases to perform the connection test mentioned earlier. If you would give me the code to put in a test php page, I'm happy to do it.

Or, can this issue be added to the support ticket opened for the last person?

here is an updated copy of the galleries/global.php file that should correct the issue.

Make Sure You Upload to the Right Path

If anyone is following along this thread, make sure that you upload the patch to the correct folder. It's /galleries as Jason said.

I am unfamiliar with PHP and the folder structure. I uploaded the file to where I first saw a file by that name, /admin_gallery .

Bad idea.

So, make sure you upload to the right path!

Is this a new issue? A client who is on IE9 can't see larger images. I'm fine on mac, all browsers.

@biz295654 It doesn't sound like your client's issue is related to what I had reported. My problem was general slowness, not no images!

Yes, we are aware of issues with Power Gallery and IE 9, we will be releasing and update to power gallery to address issues with IE 9 in the near future, in the mean time, you should use a different browser for viewing the galleries.
