did you just increase the price of Ex Library?

Did you just increase the price of the extension library annual subscription $100 while cutting back on free support???

I thought the annual sub was $199....

We didn't cut back on free support. We just opened up paid options for expedited support and direct phone support instead of just using this forum for all support.

The extension library price hasn't changed. It may have been briefly on sale.

For the longest time - annual was $199 and monthly was $19.99 and there was a $79.00 activation fee.

Now I don't see monthly offered, the annual is $299 - and the activation fee is missing! Something has changed - but I couldn't say when it happened.

It was on sale for a while, which could be what you remember.

Ray - I guess so :)

Does that mean there is no more option for a monthly renewal? And the activation fee is no longer required?

I guess there is no more library membership. If I go ahead and buy the Super Suite, will it be possible to upgrade? I didn't see any upgrade options on the website.

And I forgot to ask, will I still be able to access premium content, once I cancel my subscription?

Roxana: Download all the premium content. It does not work off serial numbers, so you should just need to save a local copy. It's yours to use!

I just got my email notice that the membership has been cancelled, effective Sept 30th. Three options are provided.

(In all cases, any product you owned prior to joining the program will be upgraded to the latest version)

1: Do nothing and you lose access at the end of SEPT.
2: Cancel now and buy Super Suite for just $199
3: Cancel now and get a $199 credit on the account (to top up your products)

For 2 & 3, the time limit on the offers seems to be Sept 10th, but the subscription will run until Sept 30th.

I hope Ray will weigh in here! Overall I think this is all very fair, I will just lose the convenience of getting the upgrades automatically. Too bad it didn't work out, I thought it was a great idea!

This is correct... although monthly subscribers are the only ones that will all end Sept. 30. Annual subscribers can choose to stay in the program until their annual renewal date at which time they will not be able to renew. The date would depend on when you signed up.

You do not need to upgrade as far as it reads. It says that you will recieve the latest version of any extension you owned prior to joining the library. So this means you would only need the extensions you are left without. It should not be too many to be honest as the Suite was pretty comprehensive.
