checkout page problem

Hi,

I build the checkout page that sends the customer to paypal. Everything works really fine.
But i notice that in the checkout page, the form have invisible fields, and in firefox with development tool i can activate the invisible fields and change their values.

Everything is in HTTP because i will not proccess the payment in the site, i will make everything in paypal.

For example, i am able to change the price from 78€ to 0.01€

Any one can say me how to prevent this issue?

Regards,

Rui

There is no way to prevent the fire fox developer tools from being able to edit the values of the hidden form elements.

This is a limitation to the PayPal Payments standard payments process.

And if the checkout page will be in ? The firefox webdeveloper can change it also?

Even in your new product PowerStore 4 online example, i am able to do this.

But in your checkout page of webassist order's, i try to do the same and doenst happen, is because it is in https?!

Our checkout page does not use a remote checkout. The information is not stored in hidden form elements to manipulate.

This is a limitation to using a remote checkout method, the information is stored in form elements, form element values can be manipulated by tools like Fire Fox development toolkit.

This cannot be prevented.
