Editing PowerStore menu with CSS Menu Writer

Neil, Thanks so much for your post on setting up Power Store3 on xaamp!
After reading, and modifying the php.ini file as you indicated, I was able to install locally!
Now the challenge, to try Using CSmenu Writer to customize, menus on Power Store
The mini how to in the FAQ section for Power Store is somwhat vague,

eg

To edit your PowerStore navigation in CSS Menu Writer, you will need to follow these steps:
In your PowerStore files, navigate to the CSSMenuWriter\cssmw_admin directory.
Select menustyle.xml and press Ctrl (Cmd) + C to copy.
Navigate to the CSSMenuWriter\cssmw_home directory.
Press Ctrl (Cmd) + V to paste this file to this location.
In Dreamweaver, open the Main.dwt file from the Templates directory.
Click once on the menu, choose Edit from the CSS Menu Writer Properties inspector.

Click once on the menu? what menu menu.css, menu.js
I would like to see an actuall follow through with a completed, modified menu.
The YouTube video are extremely helpful when trying to understand how to work with Web assist products.

Thanks again for all you have done
Dennis

Editing PowerStore menu with CSS Menu Writer

Hey Dennis,

The FAQ you mentioned is actually incorrect and only works with PowerStore 2. We will update this as soon as we can.

Once you've got PowerStore installed locally, with a correct local database connection, you should be able to open the Main.dwt.php Dreamweaver template, select the PHP icon that represents the menu, and choose Edit from the Properties Inspector to open CSS Menu Writer for making changes.

After making any changes, you will have to perform a quick fix to one of your menu files, so that it continues to work in PowerStore. This is detailed in this post here: showpost.php?p=42499&postcount=6

Power Store Connections??

Editing in Dreamweaver CS4 and CSSMenu writer for Power Store3:

Finally have xaamp and databse connections working, Please let me know which Menus, Templates that can be succesfully customized.

I tried, editing from templates, main.dwt.php changing the Menu layout eg, Horizontal to Vertical, it suppose will change,
but not always, And when it does, It does not show up as changed when reviewing on the /Admin page or user login?
Note, I did copy over the treexml for it to work in Powerstore 3, and after made changes to the menu as shown below?

I am sending an updated copy of the CSSMenuWriter\cssmw_home\treexml.xml file to fix the error you are getting, please copy it to CSSMenuWriter\cssmw_home\ folder in your power store site.

After editing the menu, you may need to change line 2 and 3 back to:
[php]$WA_localRoot = "" .$WAGLOBAL_localRoot ."";
PHP Code:
$WA_remoteRoot = "" .$WAGLOBAL_remoteRoot. "";

Again, not sure what areas of Power Store can be customized, in addition to using ecart.
