It's not really supported to change PowerStore to using a different template. there is a simply way to much code that would need to be copied from the original template and pasted into the new template.

some of the PowerStore Design elements would need to be recreated to fit the new temp[late, or you would need to adjust the CSS.

It is a better approach to stick with the template that is provided with power store and edit it to suit your needs.

Here's my 2 cents

Instead of changing the PS templates, I would suggest creating your own templates with your own naming convention.

I did this and it took me less than a day to bring up a website with PS using a totally different look and feel.

Started it yesterday and now I'm just doing little clean up here and there and adding products.

I have to admit, getting your head around the PS product takes a little bit (not much) but once you do, you see the real power in the product. Yes, it has a few quirks that will get worked out in further versions hopefully, but after you start working with PS, the world becomes much easier.

Great job WebAsssist.

Terry,

That's quite a change. :)

I wouldn't have recognized it as a PowerStore. Do you have any tips for modifying PS. I would like to start a knowledgebase article on PowerStore to collect the wisdom of the developers.

Nice work.

That much of a change in one day is impressive. I like the site you've built from the PS and would love to know how you managed to make such a drastic change in one day.

Well done.

how do you use PS with your own template?

Please, I have not bought it yet, but I am about to do it.

However, I would first like to know how to use PS with my designs and if it is easy because I do not know any php.

Please tell me how did you do it.
