Social Media Toolkit Wish-list

I like the idea behind the extension, but I find it strange that the choice is already made concerning which social media is in the collection of the extension.

I think discussions about what's in it and what's not are silly because I think we can all make our own decision and it's up to the individual user to make that choice.

Then there are of course local social media in Europe where I live and around the globe and that's why I think an import function out of Fireworks/Illustrator/PhotoShop is a important feature to add to the extension.

And not to forget the designers who made their own social media icons have to be able to import them in the extension.

Now you can only add the social media of Web Assists choice and when you have to add other social media icons that are not in the extensions collection it doesn't make things really more easy.

Of course YouTube and MySpace are the first 2 that come in mind.

And when YouTube is added please make the Youtube code valid to pass the W3 validator.

Miguel

Not even the code that youtube gives to copy and paste is valid on W3 validator

I would prefer this extension to also make it posible to create account in security assist using FB, twitter etc... logins easy for us

Very good idea!

Try this code (not the standard code from You Tube) and validate it: (URL is only an example has nothing to do with me)

<div id="youtube">
<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" style="width:590px; height:355px;" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/TN1rvGb30Lo?fs=1">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TN1rvGb30Lo?fs=1" />
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" />
</object>
</div>

Been using the Dynamic Suite for some time now.

If possible i'd really like to request that you add sign-in and registration integration with facebook and twitter to security assist or though this toolkit. That would really be helpful so we would not have to find workarounds to integrate this to security assist.

Being able to publish to a users wall or twitter account would also be useful if it can be integrated to the DW server behavior.
