Has eCom4 been updated to communicate with FedEx's new API?

No, we are currently working on making this update in a free dot release. It will be available in the next couple of months.

IT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS! FedEx has been sending out notifications of this change for months now. What do we do about our current clients using the old API, (which no longer works). This is a very serious situation! The developer's clients will be loosing money for lost online purchases. This will come back onto the developer that trusted WA to help them with an eCommerce solution. Now they are left holding the bag for "the next couple of months" and will be accused of losing money for their clients.

I wasn't aware that the API no longer works. In that case we will need to get something out sooner. Please post a support incident. I was under the impression they weren't dropping support for several more months, but I don't get those emails.

If the problem is more urgent, then we will address it more urgently. Please post a support incident and we will have somebody work with you directly.

I have confirmed that the current Fedex UI still works. Are you having difficulty using it? Do you have a site that actually stopped working?
