New WA folder

New WA folder

Now all product include files will be installed into a central "webassist" folder

Can I suggest that this folder contain a global "globals" file? It would be nice to have one master file that stores everything about the site (i.e. email addresses, paths, preferences, etc.). Each product could then pull defaults if they were already there, and add to it as needed. This would greatly speed up the installation process for those unsure about how to answer the questions.

You might even want to have a master pre-installation program that the user would run prior to the individual programs, that would gather all the information, check requirements, and create the globals file. That would enable the user to fix issues ahead of time. They would only have to run it once for each site and it could also store the capabilities of the server. You could even have a option to export the configuration to a text file (automatically stripping it of sensitive information) to post in the forums for diagnosing problems. Might save a lot of back-and-forth.
