Title and description wont show on light style

Hi

I have successfully installed powergallery on www.firefly-photography.co.uk/

However the Dark versions look great but the Light styles dont show the Title and descriptions, see attached - is there any tweaks needed to make it show?

Thanks

Jon

It's hard to say without a direct link to the gallery, but my guess is some of your other CSS is overwriting the PowerGallery CSS for the light gallery you have selected. It might be a general rule that is changing the text color.

There is a conflict since you are already using jQuery on your page. Check out this thread for more info: showthread.php?t=8878

Basically, edit the gallery.js file for your selected gallery design and change any instances of $( to document.id( - i think there will be at least 3-4 places. If you are using any other gallery types, make sure to update those js files too. jQuery uses its own $ functionality, so changing the code will allow MooTools to work properly. I have this issue logged so that we are aware of it for future releases.

Hi Justin - I have change all the $( instances to document.id( but when I do it it makes both the dark and light galleries stop working fully (images fails to load and no title).

Are there and other solutions? As it is weird it is just the Light version having the issue so would persume it is a css issue rather than a JQuery issue?

Thanks

It looks like your link works to me. Its the light gallery and the titles are correctly showing up and changing on click. I assume you removed the tooltips.
