I've decided to combine two parts of my business into one shopping cart/store. The current Powerstore will work for one part of my business.

For one, I don't like how the categories show, plus the items underneath on the left hand side. I just saw a question asking how to fix this, so hopefully someone will answer.

The second part is one of my categories is going to need sub categories for it. Like the category is Vinyl, and the sub cats need to be something like auto decals, hunting decals etc. How would I go about changing this over to work with powerstore?

I saw a post about adding sub categories, but I think my question is just a little different than what is asked here. showthread.php?t=2785&highlight=modify+product+insert+update+pages

I could be wrong, and if this is the case, then let me know.

the thread you link to looks like it is trying to accomplish the same thing you are, creating subcategories, the technique described there should also work for you.

If you are not on a time crunch, PowerStore 3 will be launching soon and will include both of these features. I dont have a concrete date, but it should be launched within the next couple of weeks.
