hover feature not working correctly

In the Edit Menu - Theme area I set hover for a different color - simply doesn't work.
The active feature works, sort of it basically works on press, but goes off immediate after the page changes.
Any advice?
Thanks

neilo

Hi,
My experience is that it is straight forward to assign background-colour, from the Type and Design tabs, hover, current, visited etc (quick example here) - just three pages, three buttons.

But I can never get the text to change and stick in all states. But it takes two minutes to do in the css file.

If you want the menu to indicate the currant page you are, go to the design tab, and in the background and border section select the Currant tab. you can set the menu to highlight the top level of your menu options must link to a unique page.

can you provide a link where I can see the problem you are having with the hover color? there may be conflicting css causing the issue.
