setting date format site wide

How about the ability to set a date formatting option for the whole site. I know you're probably tired of hearing this but.... like ADDT.

What I'd like is to set Display Date to UK format in the WA Preset Manager, then whenever I submit or retrieve dates or use the datepicker it automatically sets display formatted for my country yet submits date information correctly for MySQL.

I've attached a screenshot to show the what I'm used to.

You could argue that I cold achive this with a few lines of code, inserted here and there as I need it but I'm subscribing to WA as I want a friendly interface and minimal coding.

Thank you for the suggestion, especially with a screenshot. I'll make sure this request is passed on. And we are not tired of hearing requests. It's useful to us to know who is migrating from ADDT and the missing pieces you encounter so please keep the suggestions coming.

I saw one of your other posts so it sounds like you have something working for you in the meantime, but I'm glad you posted the details of your request.

I have also come from ADT and this feature was definately useful, so it gets another vote from me.

Me too! A little off topic, but this entire "control panel" concept was great. It's where you set site wide settings for many things - including date format, email settings, login settings and my personal favorite - ERROR MODE. Development provided detailed errors on pages, and Production provided friendly errors, in one quick push of a button.
