validation and security

validation and security

I was under the impression this extension handled all aspects of e-mailing form input, but I see no controls for validating input or security to stop spam-bots from inputting forms. And there's no way to indicate whether form fields are required or not?
Did I just buy the wrong extension?

Universal Email will handle the sending of the message you craft to the recipients you specify in the server behavior. It will not create the form or validate the inputs for you. The tool that we have that does validation of form fields is called CSS Form Builder or the older Validation Toolkit. The new Form Builder will create the form and validate the fields for you.
