Tax, Credit Card & Shipping

I am new to PowerStore and I am trying some of these features.
1-No matter what I do in the UPS in the Global, no shipping shows up, I have entered my account and my online password, and obtained Access Key, but Shipper No., I assume that is my account number too, correct??

2-Every time I enter california, or California, or CA in the TaxState, the tax disappears on checkout, any help how I should list the sate??

3-On the check-out page, I have my PayPal which I want, but I do not want to offer "or Pay by Credit Card" I know I could probably remove in "checkout.php" manual but I want to do it in "WA_Globals.php" in case I do bring it back later, I have "WAGLOBAL_Gateway = 1" and I think that is all I need since I do not have any other info listed..

Any Help Would Be Appreciated As I get familiar with this product.

To make use of the shipping quotes you need to fill in the complete address at the top of the globals file. Once you have done that you need to enable shipping with this setting:

$WAGLOBAL_Shipping_Enabled = true;

If you are using UPS you need to ensure that you have the shipping variable set like this:

$WAGLOBAL_Shipping = 1;

Other than this you just need to fill out the details for your UPS account correctly. You should see the shipping charge when you get to the confirm page but not before this.

For the state tax you just need to fill in the tax rate as a decimal value then the state to charge tax in. You would enter the standard two letter abbreviation for the state. If you leave the state blank in the globals file it should apply tax regardless of the user selection.

To disable the credit cart checkout you could just hide that part of the checkout page with some php code, you could then enable it by changing the code back. The form is on lines 429-1659, if you added some code like this before and after these lines you could get the form to not display:

php:
<?php /* ?>

lines 429-1659
<?php */
?>

You could then just remove this extra code to get the form to show again if you need it.

Tax & Shipping

AS I mentioned in the first post, I tried using CA or ca next to the rate and every time time I fill it with any info such CA or ca, the tac will not apply.

As far as the shipping, I did have it set exactly how you sated, but nothing and I also tied 3 for usps since I have my info from that too but nothing, no shipping shows up.

I assume that I should get a shipping option before I go to paypal since it needs to know how much is total before.

The shipping charge will only occur when you get to the confirm page. If you are choosing to pay with PayPal on the checkout form you will not see the shipping charge until you get to the pp_confirm page after logging in to PayPal.

How are you specifying CA as the state? You must have it recorded in your globals file under the tax section. Once you have done that you must enter the state for the checkout. If you using PayPal you will not see this charge until after you return to the pp_confirm page.

So long as the value you enter in the globals file matches what the user has for their info on the confirm page the tax should be applied like the decimal value you have entered into the globals file.

php:
// Tax Setting

  $WAGLOBAL_TaxRate = 0.08;
  $WAGLOBAL_TaxState = "CA";

This should give you a tax charge of 8% for users that specify CA as the state. Let us know if you have it setup like this and still do not get the tax charge and we will look into this further with you.
