Possible Site dont know what i can use

Good day all,

I have been asked to design a site that will have 2 sets of members... Customers and Agents..
The customer can only view what is available for sale or distribution, while the agents can add , browser and buy premium items(there will be mainly 1 of each of these premium items).

Now the customers will be asked to register to get monthly or weekly newsletters as well as the Agents, but the newsletters will be different for each group.

Also if a customer is looking for an item within a particular range and we dont have it, i was looking at having some type of autonotify(send an email to them) when an item of that value or type is available....

I dont know if my above request make sense..

This sounds like you will need eCart, SecurityAssist, DataAssist and Universal Email at the minimum.

eCart to set up the cart functionality and buying/selling of products.
SecurityAssist to set up the 2 user classes and handle the login and management of pages that each can access.
DataAssist to store the email lists into the database and other database related issues.
Universal Email to send out the emails for the mailing lists.
