Change Sorting of Products in DB/Store

I was wondering how hard it is & if it's even possible to change how the store is sorting the products on the site. right now i think it's putting the newest added product at the bottom of the list. is that correct or how exactly is it listing everything?

and is it possible to change it to the newest added product goes first. or change it to sort by the SKU numbers? if so how would i go about doing that?

thank you.

Yes, you can change the order of the products. on your product results page on line 155 of the line that starts with $query_WADAProducts, change where it says:

= ProductID at the end of the line to:

= ProductID Order By ProductUpdateDate DESC

this will order by the date field, but remember that if you make update an old product, then it will become the new one. You could also change this to say:

= ProductID Order By ProductSKU DESC

is there a way to change it in the admin section for the same results easily?
