Universal email - not sending emails

Not sure what's happened here - this is a page I did for a client about a year ago.

It was definitely working back then, but he's been in touch to say it doesn't seem to be now.

So I was wondering if someone could have a quick look over the page to see if it looks right.

Unfortunately its using a private database, so I can't really post a link.

The old system had an option to buy a token for a tech to look at things - in this case I'd be happy to pay a nominal charge to do this.

I just don't really want to start tinkering with things, as I'm so sure it was working.

Coincidentally there was an SQL memory error on another search just the other day, that was resolved by adding

RLimitMem 128000000

to the .hcassess file.

So it may be some sql / server issue.

So if anyone at WA could have a look at the pages involved to test that they should be working, I would very much appreciate it.

Could explain a little more about the issue you are experiencing? Was the page sending the email and now it is not ?

As far as I know Dani, that's exactly it - it was working, but now it isn't.

Obviously now, there's a 1% nagging doubt that it never worked, but I'd be pretty certain of testing it at the time, and getting emails OK.

So as far as I know, nothing has changed code wise to stop it working.

If I could get some assistance with this, it'd be much appreciated.

There is another page sending emails, but based on a different search. I've been testing that, and it seems OK.

So I'm going to look at both pages and see if I can spot any differences.

That sounds like a good place to start. Also, you should check with the server administrator to see if anything has changed on the server. If the page suddenly stops sending emails but was working before, its most likely something to do with the server. Also ask the server administrator to check the error log to make sure that there aren't any errors related to the email sending.

Yup - we've got somebody at the hosting company investigating too. As you say, assuming it was working (which I'm 99% certain it was), it should hopefully be some odd server issue.

Although its odd that another page doing the same thing after a different search seems to be OK.

Running it by you guys was more to confirm that the code wasn't the issue.

I'll post back if we can't get to the bottom of it.

ContactUs.php - It goes to the thank you page; however does not send the email.

I believe it has something to do with the hosting, as I created 5 other working inquiry forms this week; and this is the only one not working. AND this one is using a different hosting company.

It definitely looks like the hosting server is at fault for the emails not sending. Have them check if they changed any settings that need to be set for emails to be sent.
