Update form still leaves image field blank

Sorry, I can't find my last thread on this on the forums.

Okay, now three sites I am working on all have the same problem.

When updating a record with a file field for the image it always and I mean always deleted the data from the record for the image unless you upload a new image or re-upload the old one.

I follow the suppied document each and everytime and there is no way I can make the same mistake 30+ times. So I know its not me.

Why do I have to keep uploading an image if there is already an image in the record!?

I'm getting annoyed as my customers are getting very annoyed with this as well.

Are you using Digital File Pro?

If yes, make sure to set the Default Value to the value from the record set on the update page.

Hi Dani,

Yes I am using DFP and I know I have to set the default value. And I have done so probably well over 30 times including page do overs trying to get this to work. I have followed the steps in the documentation from this site over and over and over and over (times 30+) and once even took over 30 minutes to do an update form because I went so slow and precise to the documentation to make sure I didn't miss anything.

So that leads me to believe either the documentation has an error or it simply doesn't work.

I may have to do a Captivate video to prove it.
