Discounts based on a particular range

Hi,
What im trying to achieve is this:
I want to be able to offer customers a discount via a promotion code for a particular subcategory of product.
For instance, on our site under the category of flooring is a subcategory called rugs which has a SubCatID=52. I want to be able to create a promo code eg. RUGS10OFF and have it apply solely to that subcategory.

At some point i want to be able to expand this to include a couple of different subcategories as well so i can have a few different promotions running on site.

Any help and pointers will be greatly appreciated,

Suggs

The eCart support page have a tutorial about how to add a coupon:

ecart/ (Click on the Video Tab)

Once you have the coupon set up you could customize it to only apply it to certain sub categories.
