javascript error

I opened up a very simple page in DW and Theme-it seemed to work OK. Trouble was there wasn't much on the page to test. So I closed that and opened a page from a site I'm working on. Lots of CSS. I get the following error message.

While executing onLoad in wa_themeit.htm, the following Javascript error(s) occurred:
At line 845 of file "C:Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration|Commands\wa_themeit.js": imageURL has no properties.

I closed DW and restarted. Same result.

I then closed DW. Deleted the WinFile Cache and restarted DW. Same result.

I'm on a PC running Windows 7 64bit

Images "Alt"

In the image tab. I changed the "alt" text. (This is on a simple straight out of the box dataassist inser record page.) So I changed the alt text from "Cancel" to "Cancel this".

This is the result

html:
<img border="0" name="Cancel this" id="Cancel" alt="Cancel" src="../../WA_DataAssist/images/Pacifica/Refined_cancel.gif" />

It changed the "name" but not the "alt"

I havent had any had any javascript errors, but I did notice a curious issue when changing alt tags (or actually changing anything).
This could be a Dreamweaver thing, and nothing you can fix, but it was annoying none the less.
When I changed any field (I was changing all alt tags) if I typed in a new alt tag, and then clicked the scroll bar to scroll down to the next image, what I typed dissapeared or reverted to its original state. However, if I clicked inside another text field there was a quick refresh of the preview pane, and the change stayed.

Is there anything you guys can do about that. I was at first stumped why only every other one of the alt tags I changed actually changed until I dug a little deeper, and noticed that on every other one I clicked inside the next box after entering the alt tag (that one stayed) and every other one, I clicked the scroll bar after entering the new alt tag, and that one did not stick.

On the color importer tab, I notice when browsing for an image or page to pull colors from, you only allow images (in the files of type dropdown) and web pages.
However I noticed again, that in your webpages, you only allow .htm and .html. Can you please add at least .php extensions, and probably .asp, .aspx etc.
Most of my sites have all .php extensions, which makes it more difficult to pull a color from using this tool.

Thanks!
Tom

If you are using .php you would need to enter a full http:// url so that page could be rendered. Browsing to the page is not an option, but you can still view it and use it by entering a URL.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Ray,
I understand about rendering dynamic pages. I think we had this same discussion on the CSS Sculptor beta. I dont mind if the php isnt parsed, and php tags show in the output. It would just be nice to be able to browse to the page using the folder icon instead of typing in the full http URL.
All you would really have to do is remove the filetype validation, perhaps if people choose the *.* flietype from the menu. I was able to choose one of my php files, but then got a popup error that it wasnt an html page.

Thanks
Tom

The following issues mentioned in this thread have been identified and fixes should be in the next beta build:

*Incorrect image attribute is being modified when changing the ALT text value.
*Changes made to some image field values are not being retained after clicking the vertical scroll bar.
*onLoad 'imageURL has no properties' error occurring when launching Theme-It.

Also, if it is possible - please create a new thread for issues that you encounter.

Thank you all for the great feedback!
