Error when installing Security Assist

I get the following error message when I try to install Security Assist: "Can not update a file, the extension will not be installed".

Unable to install Security Assist

I have 3 different folders titled "Configuration", I'm new at this and I'm a little bit unsure of deleting these files. Here is a list of these configuration folders.

Users/MyName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver/Configuration

Users/MyName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager/Configuration

I assume you are on a Mac.

Go to the Mac section.

Follow the guide to the version of DW you have, and rename that folder. That way if you get the wrong one, you can just rename it back to the original name.

You only want the folder under Dreamweaver.

See the warning (in red) in that section.

Yes, I'm on the Ma. I've disabled all of the WebAssist extensions and tried to download the Security Assist extension. I'm getting a message that says a newer folder already exists. I'm confused.

Disabling is not the same as uninstalling. Please read this carefully before you cause yourself more grief:
