Uploads ok, downloads bad

Greetings, hope everybody is fine.

Been having some problems, when i try to download the files using the DFP 2, the files downloads incorrectly, even if i choose to open the file or save the file to the computer it marks and error, but when i access the file from the computer that was uploaded it loads correctly, all this is done in a testing server.

I'll annex a example.

1.jpg shows the download of the file.
2.jpg shows the error it marks
3.jpg shows the file accesing it directly from the www/admin/documentos directory in the the testing server.

any help would be appreciated on how to correct this.

What is the version of Word that you are working with? Please also post back with a couple sample files, one that is working that you upload and another that is not working that you downloaded. I can do some testing with these files to try and find out what may be going on.

Example files that uploads

Here are some anex files, it gives me the same errors even if its office 2003 or 2007 files, togheter with pdfs, if i use the office 2003 and pdfs and try to download the files by means of php/html <a href=....> it does download and work, but trying to download office 2007 files that way it keeps marking them as ZIP files and not the docx or doc files. but using the download from the DFP it registers the file type correctly but it gives me the errors.

This error also happens with images also, (.gif, .jpg, etc).

also could not upload any documents of office because of the forums size limit. Was only able to upload the pdf that uploads correctly but doesn't download.

I also annex a screen capture of the usage of the download button using DFP and the usage of Href, they are marked in the image.

Any help would be appreciated

Think found the problem

Hi, thanks for everything, I think the problem is that it causes conflict when you have both the upload and download capabilities of the DFP in the same page.

I did a download page without the upload capability and it seems to work fine (so far), have to do more tests.

Also in the upload section of the HelperPHP.php I placed a code to get rid of the spaces that i found here in the forums, don't know if that is causing the problems.

Maybe for the next version or subversion webassist might include the option to get rid of the blank spaces, so there be no problem in the uploads of the files in the server and database.

Take care.

Got it working in a way

Hello, I got it working in a way, originally the site is composed that depending on the menu you select, it loads the php section in the form of an include, but taking this option away it works more or less how i want so will see what i can do to make this integrate better with includes, will post some code how i used to call the php file that has the DFP behaviours.

Still thanks for everything, keep up the good work :)

That is good to hear, definitely post back with the code so others can see an example. Thanks.

Some Code

In the annex of reference1.jpg, when i load the page using an include that's where the problems of files been corrupted or missing links.

In the annex of reference2.jpg, instead of using an include to load the php file i placed the download behaviour, still missing to add the upload behavior to this section but so far its working.

I did is copy the same file that has the menus section, header and footer and erased the main content and placed the behaviors requiered for the upload and download.

Take care, and hopefully this might help someone out in the future.

Thanks
