Does it work without a Payment Gateway?

Does it work without a Payment Gateway?

One more question about this product before I buy it. Can Powerstore be set up to work without using a payment gateway? We process our payments internally.

And can the entire store be password protected through the prebuilt admin / registration system? (Meaning you must log-in to even see the store and prices.)

Thanks!

You can disable the gateways that PowerStore uses and implement your own gateway. However, that is going to required a little bit of custom coding.

Yes, you can protect the front end and the back end of your store using the Super Admin username and password. You will just need to make a small modification to a file that is included in all the pages.

Hi!

When you say Super Admin - does that mean only one user name and password not many? I was hoping for the store to use each User's user name and password to log-in and view the store. We can't just have one user name and password work for the entire store - otherwise each user's information is not secure.

It's sounding like this solution won't work for me.

Sorry, i have misread your previous post.

i think in this case, it is better if your purchase some of our extensions.

For example, Security Assist, will help you build your registration, login, profile, and logout pages. It will also create different user levels such as (user, admin, super admin), and based on each rule, you could restrict access to certain pages on your website.

Hello Dani,
Could you give me more information about custom coding to disable the payment gateways? Thank you.

If you want to disable the default payment gateways but still insert orders into your database, then you can just set this variable in the WA_Globals.php to true:

$WAGLOBAL_Test_Mode = true;

this will not use any of the default gateways when going through the check out process, but it will insert the order and order details in the database.

But if you are looking to implement your own gateway, then on the confirm page, you will need to remove line 997 - 1110 (or just comment it out).

I have set $WAGLOBAL_Test_Mode = true; but when I complete check out process, the order confirm mail did not send me or customers.

Thank you.

Did the order get inserted into the orders table and just the email wasn't sent or did the order not go through as well?

I've download the new page for confirm.php, and now it can send confirm email to customer but not to me.

Have you set the $WAGLOBAL_Receipt_Email_CC variable in the WA_Globals/WA_Globals.php page?

This would be under the Payment Receipt section of the globals file.
