can't seem to insert single and multiple entries with DA

can't seem to insert single and multiple entries with DA

As a recent converter from ADDT I am trying to get to grips with DA.

I have followed the guides to insert multiple records and single, but it doesn't seem to be updating the MySQL database at all.

I get no errors and everything seems to work as it should, but the database is always empty.

I know a little bit of PHP and regularly work with code to fix problems, but I don't know what is going on and I don't want to have to customise every time I use WA, when as far as I can work out I am doing everything by the book.

I have attached my example, this was created from scratch following the tutorial. The only difference is that I want the field to repeat based on a number pulled from another table, this is working fine.

Any help would be appreciated, am I supposed to point the form somewhere?

In general things look ok but I can see where there might be some problems. It looks like your trigger is set to if (isset($_POST[""])) and your submit button does not have a name or id.

You should first update the submit button to have a name and id, then you should update the trigger for the server behavior to be based on the submit button pressed. This should allow the server behavior to be properly triggered and insert the records.

Let us know if you continue to have any problems with this and post back with a sql file for the table structure you are trying to insert into. I can do some testing with this to help determine what the problem may be.
